Having held senior sales management and account management positions within several industry sectors, Gus became a training consultant in 1994, delivering a range of training programmes as well as facilitating major events and workshops. He spent several years establishing new sales and marketing organisations for emergent companies in the European and Asia-Pacific telecoms industry. Since establishing Lochgreen Learning in 2001 he has travelled worldwide working with a range of clients in virtually every industry sector.
He specialises in training and consultancy in customer-facing parts of his clients’ businesses, and works hard to ensure that clients apply the learning they have acquired to the measurable benefit of themselves and their organisations. In addition, Gus has worked as a Business Mentor for Scottish Enterprise and the Scottish Chambers of Commerce, helping SMEs with their commercial operations and currently sits as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of a number of smaller Scottish companies.
